Default Few pics of my Project Crx delsol Sir

I know its not a crx hatch, but she's a younger sister so is somewhat relevant to this forum A little intro on this car, i used own it, sold it to a lad who crashed it and I bought it back to fix her up as a little project car.

How she looked after the crash when i bought her back:

The general jist of stuff ive done so far to her is:
- fitted new red carpets and floor mats
- installed water temp/ oil pressure / volts gauges /sandwich plate
- fully serviced with Honda Hamp parts including oil filter, air filter, hamp auxilliary belts and fresh new Honda coolant & power steering fluid
- replaced the awkward heater control bulbs
- Fixed elecric ariel

- Got new wings/bonnet/bumper/slam panel fitted and sprayed

Collected her from the panel beaters today and here she is back to full health:

Plans for the next month are:
- do a 96 teg hub conversion
- fit 96spec Teg wheels which I rank as the best wheels ever []

This car was declared economically wrote off by the insurance co handling the lads claim, only for i got the lad that crashed it to buy it back off his ins co for me, it would have been scrapped as he didnt want it. What a waste of a Crx that would have been when ya see how she fixed up relatively easily, luckily there was no chasis damage obviously, damage looked way worse in the pics. Would have been a shame for this car to have been scrapped.
You cant keep a good Honda down! [^]

Nice car Del Sols get alot of undeserved stick. Probably cause people in the UK & Irelandwere inclined to stick on stupid kits etc. Best of luck with it

Yeah, I'd agree with that - that pic Steve posted is a savage example of their potential.

Old school CR-X FTW but I'd happily have a Del Slow parked up beside it.

Proper pic of the interior with the matching red floor mats in it.

New square number plate and sprayed the wipers a fresh coat of black paint as they were the only thing letting down the freshly painted immaculate front of the car.

Ahh, im used to the hair dresser jokes at this stage, haha. I only do the 1 cut, its the one where a bowl is put over your head and then chop chop.

Havent rally got plans for the car, not performance anyway, its more a project on maintenance/servicing cause I wanted to learn more about cars. Ill get the hub conversion done over the next wk or so, would love to have a go at the timing belt them maybe.

I might lower it too, just on springs though.
