There were a few issues due to the arseways engine conversion before.

1. There was movement under deceleration.

2. Idle was all over the place.

3. VTEC wouldn't engage.

After re-wiring, idle was immediately perfect. One engine mount was beginning to perish, but we tiger sealed the lot just to be sure. This sorted the jolting when decelerating, as the engine was staying in place.

A few bushes were replaced at the front. A bit of welding to add strength around the front crossmember was done, and we painted that too for good measure.

My new Tegiwa radiator was fitted, we made up and sprayed new mounts for it.

I took it for a spin up the M50, wound it up to 5800rpm, there was a burst of dust/smoke out of teh exhaust and VTEC engaged and I nearly fell into the boot. Seemed that VTEC just hadn't been engaged in a number of years. It engages fine now with no smoke at all, very smooth.

Engine bay now looks like this......

Still to do is the rocker cover, replace the red pipe for standard and a couple of other bits. Maybe a shorter throttle cable if I get really geeky about it....!
