Default Fuse keep's popping

my rear break light fuse keeps popping, any one have any ideas???

it happen's the minute the fuse get's put in . . .i've gone thru 30 fuse's trying to sort it out and cant find the problem

i,ve checked the earth's and there fine and i've checked the horn wire and that's fine [?] [?] [?]

is it just the brake lights? by any chance do the reverse lights go too. it could be the reverse lamp switch is damaged and is blowing the fuses every time you engage reverse?

Sounds like a short as in the live is coming in contact with the car body. You can check if this is happening by firstly disconnecting the bulbs & putting a multi meter onto the outgoing side of the fuse holder & putting the other probe against a earthing point. If you get continuity you have a connection between live & earth best way to find the fault then is to start looking @ plases where the cables are in running against the metal of the car you may find that the cable has rubbed the insulation off & the copper has come into contact with the car body.

nope no water in the light's
So gonna check the fuse board with a multimeter as 2ME say's and i'll let you's know tomorrow [^]

Yep thats me but car electrics can be right awkward / confusing @ times.

Ok found the problem

The horn seem's to have died [:0] and that's what was blowing the fuse so i disconected it and i now have my brake light's back [^]
