Default my ef6

i bought this back in sept 09. some of u might remember it from herehttp://www.cr-x.org/crxorg/forum/top...?TOPIC_ID=1037

heres a few pics of it when i got it

it didnt really do much for the first year or so of me owning it other than sit in my garden. heres a pic of back in march after a much deserved wash

i decided that it was a waste leaving it there and i was debating on selling it so i could put a bit more money into my ek but i decided to keep it a do a few bits to her.

i picked up this around christmass

its alot better than the original but i'm still not happy with it. i'm hoping to get a nardi classic wheel eventually.

i was thinking of doing a turbo on the d16zc in the car but i came across a jap b16 with a blown headgasket at a good price so i decided to pick up that instead

then i was over in kilcock scrap yard and they had a da6 there so i picked up another few bits

theres two da6 front hubs and drive shaft in there and a ys1 gearbox that i got not long after i bought the car. i also managed to get the front lip and gear linkages off the da6 in the scrappy.

i'm still picking up bits at the moment before the conversion. i need a rear set of 96 itr/mb6 rear trailing arms and front spindles as i'm gonna do a 4x114 conversion. i've a decent set of 96 itr alloys that i'll probably put on or i might steal the te37's off my ek but i'm still undecided at the moment.

oh and it passed the nct yesterday so happy days. i'll get a few more pics up as i go along and any suggestions or comments are welcome.

thanks for reading

sorry to be a buzz-killin-ton but the da6 front hubs won't do. they'll bolt up but front geometry won't be right. they're a different shape to the ef arms

I thought DA would fit Steve?

You will have a problem with the 114.3 conversion though due to what steve has said above..

Had wondered where Andys old car had gone alright though!!
