timing belt please

whats the story lads anyone ever do a timing belt them selves,do you need a timing belt tool for it ?..any info would be great

Which engine ya doing, there all handy enough, but ya would need some experience, to be safe.
No special tools required.

iv a 1.6 16valve, D16B engine i think ill cheak today,its a non v-tec anyway...

There a bit of a bollix to line up the cam timing. They never match up correctly for some reason.
Use caution.
Dohc Vtec, or Sohc are very easy line up.

If your order a timing belt online, be carefully also. There's another D16 in USA with a taller block.
