Default yi gearbox lsd

i have yi gearbox lsd its grinding in high revs in third where be the best place to get it done or can it be repaired any info would greatfull[8)]

It can be repaired. I have the same box grinding in fourth. Tuning Factory can fix them, and there are quite a few independent gearbox specialists that can repair them too.

Honda syncros I don't know about, but presume are expensive. M Factory in the US do replacement carbon syncros that aren't too expensive. Labour wouldn't be cheap though.

I wouldn't rule out picking up a second hand box here or in the UK and throwing it in.

I don't know too much about it, but have to do the same job myself with mine at some stage, so would be interested to see how you get on.....

You can get them repaired alright, Ronan on here got carbon syncros from the US and got them fitted here.. Good gearbox and well work getting right..


What CRX have you yourself? Any pics? Throw up and intro thread there when ya get a chance we're pretty alright here its ok

Change the gearbox oil for Honda MTF before you do anything. The stuff is magic.

Land Rover mtf is the same stuff.
