Default heated mirrors

Anyone ever consider wiring up heating elements to the back of the mirrors to help clear them? Was thinking it could be wired into the switch for the rear window heaters? maybe you could use some heaters from other cars that have them, and modify it to fit.

any thoughts or suggestions,

John Urch did this many moons ago on his dual carb. He got stick on elements in the web and they went behind the mirror. It was pretty successful. There is probably a write up on CRX-UK or the old yahoo mailing list.

No problem, let us know how you get on. You could probably get oem switches etc. off another honda...

if i do this, ill wire it up to the switch for the rear heated windscreen. That makes the most sense to me.
