In a D Series EK it should bolt in, if its 1.4 as far as I know the shafts will not slot into the hubs, Loom could be an issue because your using an OB0 Engine in an OB1 Chasis but you should get around it seen as people use the z6 engine in crx's.

Well, your Ek is obd2. So you will need to covert that to obd1 first to ensure proper tuning to ensure emissions control. It will be possible to get it to work, but you have to do it right.
Emissions control is far more difficult on 1994 Cars plus in the nct regulations. Its not difficult ya just have to update the electronics to the more modern systems.

You can't use the hubs, the are a completly different geometry.
Drive shafts are another iffy here. I would recommend using the original gear box of the ek onto the si engine. Use the ek shafts then. You will need to use the clutch plate of the 1.4 engine on the si engine then.
You will need to remove the engine mount from inside the timing belt and mount the 1.4 one onto the 1.6.

As for wiring, get any 1.5 Vtec loom on an ek.
