If your current gearbox is in good condition Id keep that.
If you have the power a 4.2 is a great gearbox they pull very good up high and with the b18 you'll have plenty power off the line too. I changed my setup to a 4.7 etc but that was because I wanted to use it no track, the 4.2 gives a pretty poor gearing for Mondello

I got tires off a hillclimb car the heat up very fast so plenty of grip I done a 1.9 60ft no them which is good on an unpreped track.
Full proper drag slicks are best but be prepared to spend upwards of 800euro for wheels and tires. Ex Rally tires will do too but try get the softer compound

-I was on 15s took whatever tires I could to fit them then (rally/hillclimb tires or whatever)
-Straight exhaust made a big difference on the dyno alright the big back box held it back an awful lot -Dunno did the back bumper make a difference cause my car didnt run consistantly with or without it so couldnt compare -When Im doing it again Im forgetting about all the stripping it out and stuff, not worth the hassle if the car is fast its fast no point trying all that for just a road car to have to reassemble it all again a few days later.. If I really wanted to push times Id build a proper drag car Biggest thing is not to try get everything right the first time out.. Enjoy it!! Youll have more fun building up skills and confidence in yourself and the car and watching your times come down and tweaking the car and what your doing as you go through the day
