Driving this everyday now, washed it yesterday for the first time in a long time. Looks good from far. Shes still very smoky and is burnin a nice drop of oil. Would this be rings or valve seals? Good bit of blow when ya take off the oil cap when shes running.

I cant tell exactly Kev without testing the engine while warm.
All I can say, is the block worked well in the previous setup,
I wished I put another head that I'd have myself here on it for ya.
As I said, originally, I'll stand by the block, but if them lads claim to have changed valve stem seals, I can imagine that it would only be as good as the way they skimmed the block and head.
If valve guides are also worn, they will release a lot of compression to the top of the head on compression stroke, and draw oil in on the pull stroke.
I've tried calling ya, but your either out of coverage or turned off.

Sh!te thats a pity Kev.. Very possibly a head problem as its a common cause of smokey hondas..

Haven't updated this in a long time sorry. Bought a dualcarb crx and go gonna vtec it as its a far cleaner shell than this one, probably restore this one when I have more time and money on my hands. Picked up 2 mint wings, 2 clean doors, back bumper and bootlid on Saturday in Kilkenny for a steal. I would say bargain of the year!

Good to hear Kev any pics of the Dual Carb? What colour were the panels you picked up? Gone hard to get bits now for CRXs!

Saw thet LHD alright is there much on it looks alright but would never sell here complete really do send on some pics I can put them up for you if you want..
