big thanks firsty to john stone from jstone racing. sorted me out of a part i didnt expect to need. anyone doing the conversion will need the rear mount form the engine to the engine mount. the itr one i had was way off. you need a da6 one. redicussly hard to find. (its more ofset to the lhd)
with the engine in we fitted the exhaust manifold, accelerator cable, gear linkages (these also have to be da6, ef8 or ef9 doch vtec models) last season i broke the inner cv on my passo drive shaft.the 98 spec shafts are redicussly hard to come by, loads do 96 spec aftermarket ones but the 98 spec have larger outer cv splines. so i bit the bullet and bought the cv from honda new....... 245ish... :wallbash) . my local honda naas are sound and very quick so at leat that..... also picked up a genuine spoon sport front strut. the reason i need this is to clear the brake resvoir. also cool peice of kit. tommrow we are remaking the front upper arms and cross member!!

its been a while since the last update. not that i havent been working on the car..... just didnt have time to post pics.
thy suspension design was a major concern. Since in club its free its one field that i felt we could make serious improvements. now since Ro let me free at designing it i tried a few designs, i finally liked the third the best. its such a pity as you'll see the workmanship in the first two attempts was amazing. i felt really bad wasting his time but its all in the aid of tenths :mad) . he took it well. Again a huge thanks for his serious work on this project!!!!!! bt the below arms were not ef but dc2. the reasons we chose them were so we could make them from scratch.the pics will show why? Mock up: (note the positive camber due to 98 spec hubs) the donor rosejoints First attempt (sorry again ro ) second attempt: perfect:not refined and finished but in!! :happy) Next i got around to the fuel lines:

Firstly massive thanks again to Ro In ROCO performance. The arms i got were for a DC2, all i could get in time so ro basicly remade them from scratch while adding a few improvements.
The upper arms have extra castor over stock and camber. the lower arms now have rosejointed castor arms that are massively adjustable. ill let the pics speak for themselves Making the antirollbar joints as there is none on DC2 lower front arms before after the camber arms being made and painted the castor arms all back in something roco eas working on today :happy) its a new s2000 twincam. he fabricated the subframe from scratch...... unreal when u see it up close thats why i added it in this bit

Update:
finally got to do some interior. Fitted the Dash. I was luck that Roco had another EF in the garage without rollcage. so i was able to measure everything so got a good fit. The wiring loom laid out and marked up. its alot bigger than an ef one!!!! Ran the loom inside from the engine bay. gives a wiretuck look and also there is no room for the engine bay fuse box!! The wiring madness begins: When i was doing this RoCo man Darren was doing serious work: He made my firewall for the fuel tank... it started life as a bonnet!!! ill let the pics show: Also i found the backbox i will use... RoCo had an old twincam exhaust from one of his road ones. It sounded amazing so i nicked it!!! (rrfl: looks amazing and is really oldschool.
