Nice one Lad.

If you intend getting rid of the Sunroof you should plug it up with a Carbon Plug or Fibreglass one - readily available they are.

The OEM Exhaust is rubbish btw - the Exhaust exit are like Pea shooters!

Any help you need just shout.

Myself, Paul and Jeff are only a Stones throw away from you.

After last night, finally got the motivation to get working on this!!
I took off all the front lights (worn screws = a bitch) but was getting dark so I'll have to take the bumper off tomoro. So hopefully will have the front stripped and the back stripped.

Jtswift:
Cheers man, I say I should get thru the first few bits not a bother, but if not I know who to call

Never thought of getting a carbon plug, how much are they?? definally would be interested in that!

well I would only get the standard exhaust for the aul nct, just so it wont give them a reason to fail and what not!!

cheers for the links! Definally will be getting that!

Finally got the front bumper off (BADLY put on) looks like it took a slight front impact, nothing huge to the shell but the radiator has a nice chunky dent in it so I say that will be getting replaced just to be safe. I notice also that the bonnet isnt locking either, dont know whats causing that (hmm.) A few more things need to be done also, will show in the pics

Finger pointing to the dent

Thats bent outta place preventing the sidelamp from lining up with the rest. Could hit it back into shape but seems fragile.

Wondering why I couldnt get my horn working, missing the second part haha

Overall its not too bad, considering the last guy who has it abused it so.

good work so far but if this is your first project (which im asuming it is) then ill give you some advice

make sure you specify specific goals for your self or you will lose interest and working on it will turn into a chore.

be prepared for things to go wrong cause there is always small things that you might not have thought of.

take your time and dont rush it and be proud of the work you do no matter how small it is cause most people wouldnt no what a apanner was if it hit them berween the eyes

and dont forget a project is NEVER done

i would have loved to no some one that knew a bit about crxs when i started at my crx so pm me for my number and i would be more than happy to help you out if i can

best of luck

Thanks man for the advice, and yup first time!

Tomoro now Im gonna get the fitments for the lights done, they were all crooked so that should be fun. Take a drive to the donars and see what I will need. Then spray the bumper stripe black.

Also, I assume to get the rear bumper off I will have to take off the rear lights ya?
