the only time I found 160 wasn't enough was following a CTR down the N2 from Slane one morning - he was just that little bit too fast for me...

am i just being stupid, but if an sir had a sohc engine, then it wouldnt be an sir. as far as i was concerned, an sir has the b16a, the si has some d16 thing and the 1.5x has the d15 something.

d15b=Fairly fast
b16a=Very very fast

16V/Si is the D16A9 engine.

3rd gen( del sol) sir = 167 bhp vti 160bhp due to a lower compression ratio , whatever that is . not so del slow eh

which ever makes the bhp figure less for the vti , i dont have a clue about these things[:I]

Yeah - you're right CTR = B16B. When I said the cams make a lot of the difference I mean the cam's in the CTR have higher lift, not that the SiR was SOHC...
