I found this on the super information highway if its any use,
a chap i use to work with took his seats apart stitch by stitch and traced them to leather material and sewed them together and done a perfect job, id try it with doner chair

yup sure did , not sure when ill ever have the money to get it done now , allways feel the interior lets these cars down a little .
