With regard to searching, if you've been on CRX-UK (for example) long enough, you do see the same questions asked over and over again, and it's obvious they haven't even bothered to search. It does get frustrating, and the amount of rubbish being posted doesn't help.

That said, you don't want things to stay the same, otherwise the whole thing withers and dies. It's just tricky finding a suitable compromise sometimes.

as a regular user of delsoluk i can tell you it has its fair share of nasty posts , but usually its not about someones car ,the search button is a waste of time , too many hits on non associated posts .i get the feeling delsoluk was set up because sol owners are not welcome on crx uk ,funny as there are a lot of sol owners who have both or have changed to a sol and vise versa .the best way to sort nasty posters is to completely ignore them .

@c-rex ah ya know i didn't mean it(maybe).Ya may be older than me but who's more mature,me or a person who likes to kill animals with his car and likes shiney things

Really and truely from day one they should have a seperate place where all the good technical posts are kept that way ya don't have to search through a whole load of crap.

People just seem to thing of nothing but themselves these days and really and truely i don't see why rob had to put up that thread or that fight about puregtipowers car, like beecee said why couldn't they just have ignored it,then i wouldn't have had to open this threadThen on other forums people would want to lighten up a little and not get soo pissed off on a little slaggin.

Ahh i don't know,i just don't like it all really.

I havent logged onto crx-uk in years but i find that any forum turns into p soup after a few years, maybe its just human nature

Try it here and i'll ban your ass

Point taken on the gallery, it has been on the back of my mind for ages now so i'll get something sorted for you guys.

I also noticed the PM section has dissappeared, will fix that too.

Cheers,

Mark

The bigger a site gets the more arseholes you get on it.

As for the search on crx-uk, using AND in searches helps (it normally does an OR search on multiple words which gives you too many useless hits) Just don't try searching for "1.5x"
