Yeah barry really looks after his cars. I dont think I ever even seen that del sol on the road just sitting in his garden. What are they like to drive? Are they much different to an eg/ek?

On of my favorite wheels is the non airbag type r wheels. Its just hard to get a clean one.

Really nice to drive, I perfer it to an EG/EK cause its different so many quirky differences like driving a real CRX.. If Im up that way some time in it Karl feel free to take it for a spin..

Yea the siR steering wheel in it is actually like new so would want to be very clean whatever Im swapping it for..

Dropped it over to Chris this evening, for the next week its his problem ha ha

Timing belt was a bastard to do due to a ridiculously tight crank bolt but finally sorted had to bring it to a garage and take the it off with a 3/4" Impant Gun. Was a two second job with the right tools!!

I ordered a new set of decals off Mr Kurtz too so should have them this week

I also took off the Volks again to clean them up new stickers and new tires so ready to throw them back on again now.

After putting the car back together this morning after the belt I dropped the roof and took it out for a spin in the sunshine on some good twisty roads!!

]

Bumper and Skirts resprayed too and all the shut lines relined looking great now..

Hope to be picking up an ITR steering wheel and gearknob this week, DOHC Vtec stickers in the post and booked in tuesday to get the cracked windscreen replaced and the rattle in the exhaust sorted.. Going to be handing it over to Rachel then

Got pressed plates off Eire plates a few days ago think they look alot better on the Jap square plate recess

And in a quick and unexpected deal today managed to pick up an ITR Momo steering wheel:

And a set of genuine Rays black DuraNuts from Darragh (Ice Wheels on here)

24degrees mountain roads and a del sol..

Yesterday was a good day!!

Great day out in the car loved it driving hard over the Connor Pass Co Kerry great sound of vtec echoing off the rock faces and roof down..
Its was weeks like this that make the Del Sol really com into its own..

Have the car all pretty much sorted now the ITR Wheel fitted and swapped out the replica gearknob for a genuine ITR one.. New BF Goodridge tires and wheels mounted up balanced and tracked the car is going great!
Will be cleaning up underneath the bonnet next

Also have a few bits Im looking to pick up like the OEM fogs, Gathers speakers and maybe different seats
