I've a few pics after today.
Resprayed engine bay as paint was unrecoverable. That wasted a lot of the day headin into Galway city to get paint, but its done now and changed a clutch in another sir civic to take my mind of it. Hate waiting for paint to dry.
Pics tomorrow.

It's amazin to see the difference in older Engine bays to the newer ones.

That's how an Engine bay would look if I wired it up!!!!

What engine's going into it (I know it's a VTEC) but is the rest a surprise?!

I'm using A B16a block from a 94 eg. Bought a type R head and milled 0.6 mm of it. Calculated compression is now 10.8 with Ctr cams.

Were converting to hydro to use an S4C box which will be 4.4 final drive.

I dropped in the engine last night very quickly to see what exactly I'be to do with engine mounts. It's gona be more interesting than I taught, as none will match. I'm not worried though, kinda glad, cause I'd like to position the engine slightly different, for weight distribution and drive shaft angle, as the car is lowered now and not on factory specs.

haha what a man, only you gary would do something like this

love your plans for the engine aswell, hard to beat the b16a with civic type r cams[^]

i'm gonna be very interested to see what its like to go with the s4c ratio's. i picked up a 4.4 YS1 box during the week. but its very hard for me to stray from the 4.2 Y1 box. its been very good to me so far!
