That sounds about right. I imported a grade 3.5 91 siR for around 5K Euro altogether last year. I was under the impression that you don't get many used cars rated at grade 4, as they'd have to be practically new to get that rating.

Well I specified that I wanted a minter so he sent me on a few examples from the auctions and said I would want to be allowing 5800 to have one here in Ireland cleared and everything..
Who did you get yours from? What was a grade 3.5 like[?]

Got mine through Asuka on the UK forum, it was probably the very last one he did before he went to Germany and stopped doing the imports for people.

3.5 is in very good condition, no rust or dings anywhere. The car was also serviced and had the timing belt changed not long before it was sold. The only faults really are the windscreen washers don't work (as mentioned in another thread) and the CV joints are badly gone, but both things are easily fixed. To be honest, I can't see what more you could expect from a 15 year old car.

I actually paid about 1800 Euro for the car at auction, but it cost me around 5000 by the time it was on the road here. One CRX that I missed out on went for somewhere around 3000-4000 at the auction itself, so that would have been an expensive motor by the time it got here. And it wasn't Mugen-kitted or anything, just had very low mileage (around 30K miles/50K kms).

Yeah, Mark, he moved to Germany just over a year ago, and I think he's dropped out of sight completely now. Not doing any imports at all any more, mine was one of the last, if not the last he did.

That explains why I couldnt find any recent posts by him on CRX UK when I was looking for someone to import one for me[:I][)]
