I was reading on CRX-UK and so far it looks like they fit right on to SiR hubs. It mentions some small amount of grinding to get the pad spacing right.
Maybe someone else could shed some light........ |

I just did a quick google there. You will need 11" (~280mm) discs for these calipers and a couple of mil will have to be shaved off the carriers.
Google answer below: the 17CL15VN is one of the biggest single piston calipers honda produces. you can easily identify this caliper from the stamp. this caliper can also be found on: 97-01 ITR, 97-99 CL V6, 91-95 legend, 96-98 rl, 95-98 tl, 92-94 vigor, 95-02 accord v6, 91-97 accord wagon, 97-01 crv, 95-01 odyssey, 92-96 prelude vtec & 97-01 prelude currently the civic has on Integra GSR front suspension. (i.e knuckles , hub, etc) 94-00 integra (except ITR) front knuckles are all the same regardless if it from a LS, RS, GS OR GSR I would like to kno if the prelude caliper would bolt to the gsr components? If it wouldnt what needs to be done to get it to work? caliper mount needs to grinded and or redrilled? Would the disc bolt onto the hub ? yes, the 17CL15VN calipers will fit your integra knuckles. once you obtain the calipers, you'll need to seperate the caliper bracket. the bracket is stamped either 23T, 25T or 28T. the bracket will need to be milled 2-3mm (or 1/8"). * (the machined brackets will also accept NSX & 94-95 legend 2-pot front calipers) http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2738136 once you get the bracket machined, you'll need rotors. you have 2 options: a. re-drill prelude VTEC 11" rotors to 4X100 b. www.fastbrakes.com 11" rotors in 4X100. pads can be found in any of the honda/acura models listed above. since you'll need more fluid to push the bigger pistons, it's a good idea to upgrade your master cylinder. http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=364783 you can keep the booster on your 92-95 civic EG & upgrade to 15/16" from a 90-91 civic EX. honda oem part # 46100-SH4-A11. bolts right up, no bending or reflaring of the brake lines. use caution when dealing with the m/c & use a flared wrench to avoid stripping it. Would it be worth the swap? imo yes, this is the ITR front brake system w/o the cost of swapping to 5-lug and can 15" wheels fit over them? yes, oem honda 15" wheels fit over the brake upgrade |
