OMG

I think I have that week off up here too, or may be the week before im not sure but wouldnt matter ill just take the 2nd off anyway. Id be up for going if I do. Doubt it would be in a rex so the grandad mobile can also carry stuff, if you dont wanna bring the van john!

Id be up for staying a while longer though to get some decent track time, may aswell seeing as we drove all the way out there.

Again from the looks of that pic I would say there would be a few other people thinking about staying on aswell, I doubt any sort of decent track time would be in the question even though it would be amazing!!!

Right been looking into this a bit more.

I would be thinking of making a holiday out of this but ferry prices shouldnt vary too much really. All with car and 2 occupants.

14 July - 02 August Rosslare to Fishgaurd will be £340

Fishgaurd to the tunnel is about 325miles

The tunnel to calais will cost £100

Then 300miles from Calais to Nurburg

So Return thats £440 and 1200miles worth of petrol not including the trip to Rosslare

So thats the getting there, i havent looked into the staying there yet.

Good site here if anyone else is interested in this.

Ya prob would, Im not a boat lover though [] Come to think of it i dont really like confined spaces either [] I was just picked the tunnel as i assumed you wouldnt be under as much time pressure to get there.

That rosslare fishgaurd is the slow yoke to but im not 100% on that.

Im considering shorthening my stay a bit as my plans to drive to stockholm may be scrapped [] Still wouldnt mind a spin down to the alps or somewhere though.
