Try the stock "leather" seats, black car, no aircon and a jammers M50. Even with both windows open yesterday I was roasted alive.
I took the family wagon in this morning. I might have to ring Brian's Aircon specialist.

For the record, I'd like to categorically state I don't want leather.
The effect when you move in the leather seat wearing assless chaps is eye-watering

On the subject of price, I think I'll send Mick and Stephen out to buy my next car!!

Leather ( real leather ) seats are quite comfortable in this weather , if your seats are original then they're not leather but vinyl , which is mental in this weather , no reports back yet for the aircon job , i will post straight away when i get it sorted .

Mark if your interested in that car drive down your CRX leave it with me and can drive the BMW home, its only about 5mins from me...

Nearly five years of shouting at people to get off my road later, and the BMW is about to be condemned to the scrapper. I think it's time for a change, but I'll be sad to see it go all the same. Several big issues are looming with it which make no economic sense to fix (steering rack on the way out, driveshaft issue, persistent oil leak, new tyres needed, expiring NCT.....the list goes on!). Overall though, I think I got decent value from the €1600 I paid (conveniently ignoring about three times that much in motor tax paid over the five years!)
On the look out for a replacement, and hoping I'll be down to one money pit soon!
