I have a powerflow exhaust system on mine. From what i can tell they just made up the piping system and added a scorpion backbox. I wouldn't call it an overly loud system by any means. Unless your driving on...

You will want to examine that engine carefully when ya strip it. Headgaskets just don't go in Honda's, normally at all. Something blew it. Check the cylinder walls for limescale or corrosion damage.

Hondas aren't like rovers or other engines. There way over engineered, mechanically.

Were you driving this car on the road the whole time? Though you were getting the engine done on it already.. You going to throw in the other engine you have now instead?

Superchipped ecu landed this mornin, hoping to have the car back for the weekend and ill fit it then. Currently workin on a Crx for a lad from cork, he gave me a clean sir rear cut as part payment for the work so that should sort out my inner arch, lower arches and a portion of the sills anyway. Have a set of civic sills got too.

Ok cylinder wall on no2 is fecked, mechanic reckons im better stick stick a different bottom end into it. Ive the bottom end off the head i got the work done on sittin in the shed its a b16a2 would that work alrite. Would it run alrite on the A1s wiring or would it need the newer ecu to get the full benefit of the engine?
