for got how unupdated this was heres a few until the weekend and ill stick a few more up

both recaro's finally fitted. there from an evo 5 and i like them because there different from what you normally see in a honda

venom intake manifold is on there a while now but the aem fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and b&m fuel clock are fairly new additions i think !!!

momo wheel from a ITR

gear knob and gator also from a ITR. i also made the gear stick about an inch and a half shorter you can still see the swarf from the die

iv have also taken all of the sound proofing out of the boot, drilled out all of the seat brackets and rerouted the wires and boot release cable in along the quarter panel ill be painting next weekend

its easyer because the yanks, that design all honda swap mounts, never had a b-series engined crx. and trying to explain to them that theres such a thing as ukdm isnt easy. they asked me was ireland beside russia !!!

but in fairness we can thank them for having swaps in the first place and they have built some the nicest hondas on the planet

ill stick up more pictures at the weekend the car is gone way past where it is on this build thread.

o and i sold the BM this evening so happy days for me

just want to say thanks to paul c-rex for sending an engine my way and organising to bring it down from dublin. thanks man
and thanks to gary mcd22 for letting me have the engine sense he had first choice but let me have it.

group hug

now enough with the gayness back to the important stuff! the engine is a h22a7 from an accord type r. it developed a knock and was replaced by it previous owner. so when i got it home i started stripping and found that one rod bearing was completely destroyed while the rest where fine. i measured the crank and although there wasnt much of the bearing left it seems to be ok. no scratchs or signs of wear.

i bought a set of bearings today and hopefully this will get things back to normal.

im currently dyno'd at 169bhp so hopefully this engine with a good tune will get me over the 200 mark

stay tuned pictures to come
