Here the extent of the rust I found and took a bit of digging to even find it!

The standard sealer (Kinda white stuff) had hardened and lifted a bit to allow water in to what is bare metal underneath
Cleaned it all back to bare metal and glad to see it was just surface nothing gone through or evne a little weak!!

I then cleaned it all down sprayed 2 coats of etch primer, 2 coats of oxide primer and resealed around the area again with sikaflex to get it back to near OEM look

Waited for it to dry in (on what was an ok enoughg day) and then sprayed it back Torino Red

Really glad this is done, its one thing that would drive me crazy is finding some major rust on the car hope this keeps it right there for a few more years now..

Fitted a Spoon strut brace today aswell

And fitted the urethane J's Lip to the bumper too as I had always just layed it on for pics.. Pictures of the car back together tomorrow hopefully with the fogs back on again too!

Oh and a proper EF "Honda Motor Cc." rocker cover too just to spray it up

Rain ment I couldnt refit the front today so fitted a Snap Off kit.. Sitting the car car safe from out Irish summer!

Going throwing back on the Mugen RNRs too since they are all there with tyres on them and look a bit more complete the SSRs really need centre caps..
Hated the Halfords red stripe on them

So pulled it off sanded down all the loose sh!te paint and refitted the centre caps... Now have the rough and ready look

Finally got a few hours of dry weather today so tidyied up anlt of old wiring where there was connextors and crimps and rewired and ad fitted my fogs

Heres how it is now with no scruffy wiring:

The fog light loom way tidier running through the front support bar:

The Raybrig bulbs are far brighter too cant show up in pics but will look at getting ice white park light bulbs cause they look very yellow compared to the headlights now:

Front is all back on now but was working on it out in the yard in the dark so will get a few pic tomorrow

Nice work Lad. She's coming on nicely now.

Is it going for another map sessions before you're happy with it?

You'll have to come up with a name for it now!!

As of last friday Ive owned this 7years pretty cool having a car that long and still love playing around with it..

Went and tried on a set of wheels on it today that I have for my civic.. Work Equip 01s

Really changed the look of the car, they are 15x8 et23 they would be fitting perfect with a little more camber and lowered more but would leave that for a while yet as Ive more to be doing than getting the car "stanced".. Also needed to space the fronts to clear the calipers so sitting about 3mm wider again..
