Well steve I had same problem try axa, thats who I got mine with in the end.

So it looks like july then for the meet.. Think we should deside on a date and location soon because there will always be something why people cant make it.. If we have plenty of notice it will make it easier for people to make[^]

What about org. a checkpoint rally, over 2 days, and on the second day we end up in a track for a few laps, then a good old dance party, on the sat. night?

I used to do them in the classic car rallys about ireland yrs ago.....

basicaly, every one brings a m8, who are used to be the checkpoint stuards, the cars involed are numbered, and pay a fee, 50.00 or so, we have a map of the rally, which has clues on it on where the next checkpoint is.

we could have a small gathering after the track day with sum food and drinks, giv small prizes for best times, and the top 3 winners in the rally, and also for top times from checkpoint to checkpoints?

Its a good day out, then to end on a bit of fun on the track, and then a good old party after!!

the cash from everyone goes to the track day, the food and the party after.

if we can do it right its all good.

I would need a couple of peps to help with admin, but thats it?

at least this way, everyone has to be there as they have paid, and then this makes it a proper meet, with lots of crx's on show, and will create a little fuss thru the towns!

what u think?

If u are all up for this, i think end of summer is good, say aug. so we all hav time to pay, org. the event etc.......

Its a great 2 days of fun but alot of effort would have to go into organising it for such small numbers.I'd be happy to go camping or something and have a piss up.Unless we got another forum on board then I think this would only fall by the wayside.more than happy to help though if there is serious interest.

the two day event sound great and if it was done right it would be unreal,but,i have a family,as im sure some of the other lads do as well and i just couldn't do two days,one day and night no bother,i hope im not annoying one by saying this...

Great idea, but I know how hard it is to organise a Saturday afternoon meet in the Phoenix Park. Best of luck if you can pull it off.

well if the Moderator on this site can email all the members, see how many reply and say they would be into it, then we can go from there?

ill try get a few sponsors also, any commercial guys on here, car shops, etc....we could get help from them......?

the thing is if every1 has to pay a fee for the weekend then they will turn up?
