After driving to mondello last week I had to get my wheels balanced cause they shook the sh!t out of the car on the drive up..

While I had them up got to look at the squeaking from my front brakes, the spring/clip in the caliper was rubbing off the disk and has worn through and broke off in places..

Cant really see why this is happening it is running EG calipers and EG pads so presume this is it but cant see asolution other than taking out the clip? Any opinions?

Also spotted the way I had my coilovers mounted:

That gap there (between the seat of the shock and fork head) is ment for the bracket for the brake hose but since Im not using it I can mount the shock lower into the fork.. Was delighted to see this cause I was never happy the way the car sat the front was always sitting higher than the back

See above now its dropped about an inch lower.. The opposite I just greased the shock loosened the bolt and jacked it into it only a two second job!

Can now get a height that sits better, as it is now the front is very low so have the option of rasing it up if I want

My exhaust is finally coming together..

Went on a long drive today met Brian for wheels and then onto Mullingar to pick up this[8D]

Its a Spoon N1 Gen1 axle back.. Its off a DC2 integra but will be cut and welded to fit the CRX by my friend who will also be making up a custom 2.5" stainless centre section..

This will exit the 'wrong' side so will loose the look of the full width back box but hope to have it OEM looking still with the bumper done properly
