Fitted a the altenator belt finally today, the plates and another few small jobs but the main thinkg was the main relay..

Coming home last night at around 4am the car just stopped, could hear the fuel pump wasnt priming kept at it and eventually it fired up..
It had given some intermittent starting problems so was expecting it all..

So with a quick search I found this, really detailed and great bit of info made the job very handy:

Today started out with just a quick was of the CRX between showers of rain..
Then looking at it all clean outside said Id try on the rad, got a second run Tegiwa off br- on here:

Despite all the bad reviews I heard it was perfect fit althought there is no PS or AC in the way around it so was an easy job..
Since I had it started then said Id go try on the new manifold so first had to pull off the crossmember to get it on..

All looked nice and even had good clearence to the rad so Ill be able to run the electric fans on the rear (pull) or the front if I need (Push)

Since this is a 4-1 manifold ment for a B18 the front crossmember needed to be "modified"
So after taking a few measurements it needed this area for room

Flipped down and after alot of grinding and hammering it looked like this

Which gives a nice snug fit for the mani theres just about 5mm gap there now

Also had to cut the adjustable test pipe/decat as it was way to long!
Before I put it all back together Im gonna baffle the sump and ad heat reflective tape on it to help keep temps down, raise the front suspension to allow more clearence and need to pick up a second electric fan

So heres how it sits now waiting on more work tomorrow hopefully

the bolt for the gearbox mount will hit the runner on the manifold. put two or three washers behind it to space it back

CRX is still in the same state of disrepair but thats because I dont want to have to have to pull the front off again so doing all the jobs needed at once..

So have these bits ready to go:
2 12" Slimline Fans
Sump Baffle Kit
DEI Heat Reflective Sheet
Spoon Magnetic Sump Plug
Goodridge Braided Brake Lines

Waiting on Sump gasket seal now mainly from honda along with another few rubber seals that managed to clock up to over €100!!! Hopefully get the car back together this weekend.
