If the meet is at my house I can guarantee there will be 7 CR-Xs there#128513;

We'll probably aim around Dublin to suit north, south and the dubs.

Liking the sound of this! I'll put in a absent request form to the missus in the next day or 2 to get my authorisation form signed off

Its now all in place & I'm slowly but surely getting all the bits bolted back on. Still need a few small things sorted but all in all its 90% where i want it to be for now. A wee bit of paint also makes a serious difference [8D]

So, had an issue with the d/side shaft binding with the subframe. I had set the engine & gearbox up trying to rotate it as much forward as possible so I had extra room at the bulk head/firewall. It was all held in position based on the modifications to the rear T bracket.
So i disconnected the T bracket completely, rotated the engine & box back & it freed up the space I need for the shaft, i still have enough space at the firewall but it's obviously a bit tighter & have "persuaded" the firewall in a spot where the TPS sensor now sits to accommodate this!

Still some minor adjustments to make to the T bracket, then i can bolt it up & hopefully I can fill with fluids ready for a 1st start & the inevitable fault finding!

Got my baffle from BYC designs & got it welded into place. Hoping this will prevent as much oil starvation as possible as the h2b kit tends to rotate the engine forward a bit more than normal.
Really good piece of kit & not paper thin, perfect fitment for the sump (he also does H22a options as they are a different shape to the H22a7). Welded into place & now back on the block.

Sounds like you've broken the back on it at this stage - hopefully the fault finding required is minimal!

I'd have love to have that be it but it wasn't...had to pull it all out again last week, flywheel was wobbling when I tried to crank it, had to reset the clutch, pressure plate & the gearbox. I also think my starter is bucked!
