You see on the left of the Engine bay where there was repair done before - I'm gonna tidy that up with the Dynamat and reseat the Air filer on top of it to 'fill the empty space' so to speak.

Yes, it's heat resistant but not fire proof [hopefully there'll never be a fire in there!!]

So it's for function and fashion

i brought this car into ireland and owned it for about a year. good to see it's still being loved.
the only issue i had with the car was the front suspension turret, but it looks like you have sorted this. kudos.
nice mods. i like the spoiler and alloys. bonnet is nice aswell. take care of her.

Small Update:

Got the car back on Friday gone 17-04-09. Very happy with the work the Sprayer done [matched the paint extremely well]

Fitted the Discs, Braided lines, Spoiler and H badge on Saturday with a friend of mine.

The Rear carbon spoiler isn't a perfect fit to be honest - I was disappointed with the hole for the wiper that it didn't line up right so now I'm minus a rear wiper but I'll survive!!

Other than that I can't complain really. I suppose my next big thing now is to clean up that messy Engine bay and look into a Wire tuck [anyone here ever done one on a Rex?]

I'll take pics at the weekend and upload them then - between one thing and another I just didn't have time and I was covered in Head to Toe with sh1t and grease so I wasn't going pawing my camera!

@davidclayton: I haven't noticed anything with the Suspension - should I?
The girl you sold it to may have fixed that but I haven't noticed anything strange anyway.

BTW, it's Gunmetal Grey now, not Pewter, as it was resprayed before and the paint the Sprayer matched to it is closer to Gunmetal than Pewter.

Cheers for all the nice comments and as I said I'll upload pics over the weekend.

Excellent work so far [^] , as much as our numbers on here are very small , those that do stick around are real enthusiasts and the quality of crx is getting better all the time . It would be great if the meet being organised turned into a reality , but you know what us lot are like .
