IT'S ALIVE
Well at long last the B18 is in the crx , and it was well worth the wait , i just cant believe the the power it produces , first time out in it and i was scared sh1tless driving it , i have it a couple of weeks now and im getting a little braver but not stupid , YET .
So here it is in , sitting pretty

and another showing the ghetto air feed , which ill be sorting when i actually have some money , rather than just owe it

When i got the car back first there was a LOT of vibration coming through the whole car , very annoying and off putting , but after a couple of days driving this has subsided by about %50 so far , im guessing everything needed to just settle .
the front suspension seemed to be a little crashy on first drive but also has seemed to settle , might raise it just a tad to see if it feels any better ,
there are a few small electrical issues to sort , no rear demister and power foldies have a mind of there own . the car has it's NCT ( MOT ) on thursday so ill see what they have to say about things .
i will write up a better post on all the bits and pieces that the lad's had to do and any problems they had along the way .
BRIAN
PS , all comments and questions are welcome .

Thats brilliant Brian, can't wait to see it in the flesh, must be a demon on the road and also has the looks to go with the engine, fair play and well wear[^]

Did you get the speedo in and up and running?

Glad you're back on the road again.

Do you still have the stock suspension? a B18 weighs more than a D15!

no , i have these remember
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b1...DSC00155-1.jpg
which is a godsend as the front is sitting tooooo low for my liking , it look's good but is not suitable for our roads and the amount of speed bump's in my estate is ridiculous .

Ah yes. I remember the springs I got with mine were very crashy (seem to be the same ones you have)

Invest in a set of Eibach Pros

the Eibach's i have have a spring rate of 350 front and 250 rear ,they ware perfect on the d15b at the ride height ive them at now , just need to raise the car a few click's to accommodate the b18 ,as it is now it is a bit crashy , but i need both tre's replaced and possibly some bushes , only then will i know if the Eibach's need replacing , if i do ill sell mine to go twards the cost .

I will tell you in a couple of hours !! , but i dont think it will matter , as the car is pre august 19992 so there are no emissions level set for the car for it to meet . the test is for 3 30 today and ive not prepared a thing for it as there are a couple of things that i know need doing , let them tell me the rest and get it all sorted and have it re tested then .
