Default Wine 1.5x

Well picked this up a few weeks ago off Kieran mazrex off here..

Its a 1990 1.5 Dual Carb and most importantly.... Torino Red[8D]

Didnt really plan on buying another car as my own siR was due back from Garys but Kieran dropped it to my house cause it needed a few bits done..
Speedo cable needed to be replaced.
Drivers Door Glass needed to be replaced after some scumbag tried to break into it outside Kierans house in Cork
And possible altenator problems..

As it sat outside I started to realise how clean of a CRX it was so after some negociations I bought it off him..

Those bits sorted then the addition of a few OEM extras and alot of cleaning its looking pretty nice now

14" Black Racing Alloys
Honda Access CRX Mats
Personal Box
Dash Mat
Honda JDM Flare
Original Alpine Gathers Headunit
SiR Chrome Tipped Exhaust
SiR Front Splitter
SiR Leather Steering Wheel

Also while I had it jacked up I said Id check out the sills for rust..
Was scared removing the plastic skirts but this is what I found

Also picked up pressed metal plates off Eireplates done the PS and Altenator Belt.. A/C belt is there too along with a AC Tensioner as the old one was Fcuked..

As its sitting now it needs just a small few bits to have it perfect as I want it.
Rear Bumper and drivers quarter paned resprayed due to laquer peal
Blue Glass swapped into the drivers door instead of the Bronze
NCT it (Failed last time only on emissions think its sorted now after swapping Carbs twice)
Respary rocker cover and Exhaust Heat shield
Put on a non broken drivers door bump strip

So thats it for now plan is keep it as clean and standard as possible while the siR is used as my hooligan car

thats a really tidy example, and the modifications you've done are subtle but bring it out really well.

I will see if i have that skinny drivers door trim in the shed.

Did changing the alternator belt solve your alternator problems? Do you have a part number for it (how much) and was it difficult to fix. Id imagine the air-con gets in the way.

Nice one, on the rust free sills. credit to the previous owner.

Got the three belts in the motor factors and all were in stock so no bother getting them, cant remember the price but were only a few euro each. I snapped the altenator belt on the way up to Stans and badly stuck for power for the lights and about half an hour looking desperately into the engine bay found that if you flipped the PS belt inside out it will get you home as an altenator belt if your really stuck ha ha

Have the door trim and all myself just waiting on getting blue glass for the door and then do the two jobs at once..
Turns out there was nothing wrong the altenator too probably just loosing charge from being left sitting and a slipping belt its working fine now anyway..

And I was not expecting clean sills since the last time there was tax or NCT on it was september 06.. Over 5years off the road and managed to stay rust free, hope my siR is the same
