Default siR Airbox or induction kits

Just wondering what sort of air induction systems ye have in yer vtecs and how ye find em?
I read somewhere that its better off to keep the standard honda air box and swap the element for a spoon higher flow one but seeing as the air box is missing off mine a good induction kit would suit me better than looking for an air box?

So any suggestions on good cold air induction kits or else get an air box[?]

Lot of the guys on CRX-UK have been impressed by the AC Autotecnik induction kit. Daz81 wrote a fairly detailed analysis of it and a couple of the other guys have bought them and said good things about it, too. I've actually got one on the way at the moment! Hopefully I'll be putting it on around the same time as my Mongoose exhaust arrives.

Damn it I missed out on a good group buy there so
Anyone hear anything good about the Pipercross Viper cold air kit it looks savage and will let virtually no hot air in.
Theres an exact CRX ef8 fitment too..

Whats the site for the AEM stuff?

Check the threads on the UK site, there's a place selling it very cheap in the States at the moment, works out at around 100 Euro.

EDIT: talking about the AC Autotecnik one, there wasn't a group buy or anything, so it's still available.

www.aempower.com , the sol guys in the uk and the states highly recommend these , cant see why they should be any different on a 2nd gen vtec .
