Default My CF48s

Well got sick of looking out the window at rain today so said I would start preping the CF48s again.. So I stripped the black paint off the polished lip and did a little mock up of how they will kinda look..

Before

Lip cleaned

Centre Gold

Along side the Sedan

Alongside the CRX

So what do ye think? I really like the gold anyway really brightens up the wheel
(I dont really like the plain silver on them just not my stlye on them)

Or any other suggestions for colours on them?

**This isnt a finished product the lip needs loads of polishing and the paint nneds to be done right this is just a 30minute mock up**

Paul

Thats the other colour I was thinking of getting on them but I think gold is better with the wine..

Or maybe you could just dump them

Oooh, that makes me want to clean mine up. I want to do them with the centre bit black. Did you spend long cleaning them, Paul, what did you use?

Are yours fully black Paul?

I used Nitro Mers (the can in the second pic)..
Use a brush to apply it to the paint you want to strip off leave for 5mins are scrub off with a scotch pad or wire pot scrubber..

Should come up nice and clean
Then use sandpaper to get the polished lip back up, working from maybe a 240/400 grade upwards

Mine are silver at the moment, Paul, I'd like to do them with a black centre and polished lip though. They need a good feckin' clean anyway, so I think I'll get me some Nitromors to start with. Gold might be nice too, mind you, looking at the job you did and BEECEE's wheels.....hmm.

I think they'd look well on the Sedan in Gold Paul but the ones currently on the Rex are minty mint and look the business.

You'd be better off putting more effort into the Sedan and selling me that CR-X for parts!!!!!!!!
