Default Painted Rocker Covers

Any one painted their rocker covers in Ireland? any advice on paint? I wouldnt mind redoing it in black or grey wrinkle finish, best place to buy paint? Thanks

my brother import VHT paint from USA i looks very nice!!!


first he remove paint by some liqid then clean it by thiners and paint it twice. after that he put it in owen for couple of hours

and thats it

Done it on the carb engine in the civic.
1. Use Nitro Mers to strip down the old paint (available in painters shopps for stripping varnish) might take a few times with this..
2. Clean it well with pre cleaner or petrol if your cheap like me
3. Primer (I did on mine anyway)
4. Spray until your happy with the finish (normal or crinkle paint whatever style or colour suits you)
5. Then sand the vtec logos etc with fine sandpaper using a sanding block to bring the writing back to aluminium.

Thats what I done for mine anyway pic in a minute when I upload is[8D]

I believe covering the lettering with a layer of vaseline works well and saves sanding afterwards.

Thats exactly what I want it to look like only in grey or black, thats an amzing job he did looks better than any b16b I've ever seen and I saw a brand new original one my mate bought for his ek9!

i got no idea that u can get that paint here, i just know that there r only 3 colors Black, Red, Gray. and it cost about 15e per can ( he used 2 cans of red on cover)
