i was wondering if anyone is familiar with the carbon fibre sunroof on 12tunes website.is it a direct replacement that will still work or is it just to replace the whole shebang and never open before.might be a solution to rust

It's a replacement for the original - you keep the mechanics and just replace the sunroof panel.

There was a discussion about getting a group buy but it never went anywhere. I hope to have a few quid soon, so I'd be up for getting one if you want to save on postage

I'm looking at getting one for the 16V in the not-too-distant future hopefully. Although I will probably have to replace the mechanism as well.

Ow btw, i wouldnt really be after a carbon sunroof. Probably arches or something. Carbon sunroofs are quite costly:O
