Default window keeps pulling seal down

As above, i changed my DS window ages ago and every time i open the window it pulls the seal on the pillar down. The weather seal is one long part, but i ended up cutting it as it was all coming down. Ive sorted the horizontal bit, but the vertical bit is annoying. Ive found i can adjust the window with a bolt behind the triangle plastic, and also a adjusting bolt under the door card. Am thinking of glueing the seal in now, would tiger seal do? anyone else have this problem?

What do you mean cutting it? As in it's not all one piece now?

My old one used to come out when I got the car - the rubber gets a bit hard with age. I pulled the whole thing out, lathered it all in Silicone Lubricant and refitted. Was grand for years.

Its in two pieces, I cut it just at the corner where the pillar meets the horizontal part of the door. My bad, i know. If i put lube on it surely it will pull down more easily.

Yeah...because it should be attached to the other piece

Try putting lubricant inside the rubber where it holds the glass - should be less friction from putting windows up and down. Maybe a bit of super glue to hold it into the door frame.

It's like WD40 except it has silicone in it. Good for lubricating non metal materials (and metal ones too)

Motor factors will have it,

Got the seatbelt changed also thanks to niall so my interior is back in place finally. bleedin road noise was annoying as hell
