Plug leads
Another problem I've had for a while was that one of the plug leads would not fit properly on to the plug it was supposed to go on, making the car chug at low revs. I bought a set of leads for a 16V from one of the guys on CRX-UK, but now I've gone to fit them, the end that goes on the spark plug is the same size as the lead that doesn't fit in the set that are in the car already. The spark plug end seems to be too long for the cylinder.
When I compare the set of leads that I bought, the spark plug end is definitely longer than the end on the three leads that currently fit properly. Anyone come across this, or give me a reason why this is the case?

Little confusing, OK the DOHC engine uses different leads, i think they go deeper into the head from memory. The original leads like to stick onto the plugs after a few miles and sometimes they stretch when you try to pull them out.
Have you taken all the plugs out, incase you have an odd spark plug....

Spark plugs should all be the same, Mark, the connector on the lead is definitely different to the others. It's a weird one.
