Heater???

When I switch on heat in car it feels like its cuttin the engine a bit, feels like it chucks car!! What the hell!??? same when Ive air con on to. what could that be!!!!?????? Really frustrating!!!!

does it go down by much?what are the revs before and after you do it? the air con and heater put a draw on the engine causing it to die a little this is normal. it should also happen when you turn on the lights.

joan, you have a 1.5, right? I noticed the same when I had my dual-carb. Unfortunately because the car is not overly-powerful, the load created by the air-con is quite noticeable.

Solution is to buy an SiR

its wreckin my head!! It just feels like its killin the car!! I never use air con cause I know its hard on engine, but I just think that the heater on is worse than it ever was before Summers comin anyway thank god!

& Yea I'd love an SiR!!!!
