Our Home Place-Tuam Slang!!
Well the town near us,Tuam,is renouned for its unusual Slang so here's a few words and in case me,john or dj say any of these to ye in future ye'll know what we're on about.
Slang words; Chice=Nothing Gaff=House Skirt=Walk or Run Skates=Shoes Sham=Town person Buff=Country Person Lampin=Watching Beaurs=Women Bolted=Ran Lushin=Drinkin Bushin=Drinkin in a field with people Off his tits=Pissed Drunk Jammer=Car Nest=Bed Whats the G?=Whats up?/Any Craic? Strides=Jeans/Pants Readies=Money 2 Yo yo's=2 euro Shades=Gaurds Barney=Fightin Only Buzzin off ya=Only messin with ya Bogie=Disgusting Mad Buzz=Great Craic Lakes=Mad Story Sham=Are ya well? I'm Wide=I know whats happening That's all i can think of at the minute but i'll update it again.Now ye all know what we're on about

my parents used to talk in the real tuam slang when we wer younger,something along the lines off "heygum ta fagum waygoo dayga shayguu" . dunno if its used anymore tho

Ya some of the lads can speak it, but i wouldnt know if its right or not anyway.
Think its a type of pig latin, you can change google to it and its kinda the same, quite funny
