3 mobile broadband

i got one a few weeks ago. using it away fine to look at here, crx uk etc, i was looking at it all afternoon today until i got this messege
'You have been banned from this forum.
Or you are using the 3 mobile network. 3 is causing us problems and refuse to aknowledge them so we have had no choice but to ban access from their network.
You can try to contact 3 to complain and put them in touch with us however it might be faster to use an alternative connection.
Please contact the webmaster or board administrator for more information.'
i cant conact anyone because i cant log on. could someone ask admin over there whats the exact problem please

I was havin lots of trouble on CRX Uk too very slow loading least I know whats up now...[:I]

"We've had to take the step of banning the IP address ranges used by the 3 boardband network.
It seems that every time someone using 3 logs on to the forum "something" tries to follow the link of every page on the site at the same time and brings the forum to it's knees.

It does not appear to be the person's PC going by the server logs, but some other device emulating their IP.
I've tried contacting 3 who has just ignored me so we've banned and will continue to ban any IP from the 3 network.

If you know someone who thinks they have been banned, ask them if they are with 3.
I have altered the message people will see to let them know that there is a problem.

A possible work around for them would be to use something like www.boxofprox.com (currently down ) which will bypass the 3 network and should let them get onto the forum.


If you happen to work for 3 or Hutchinson and would like to help in solving the problem, please make yourself known "

thanks for that, wondering what the hell was goin on. tried the boxofprox thing but its not working. i emailed 3 and i got an automatic email back saying it nwould take up to 5 working days to reply to it. wat a joke they are suppose to be running internet broadband and it takes 5 days to get a reply from an email.

UPDATE: As of last Thursday, the problems with CRX-UK and 3 BB have been resolved, so you should be able to log in again via 3.

sound out, was using a proxy server to log on there but was taking alot of time. thanks again
