Default Full EE8 CRX €800 Good for conversion

Just testing the water here lads.

Need some cash asap for a new project so i'm considering selling my crx for parts. Selling complete only

Ideal for an ef vtec conversion. B16A1

I've just fitted a Nippon Racing head gasket, new valve stem oil seals etc.

Rear disc brakes etc.

The car is all taken apart at the moment so will need to be collected by trailer. Can be heard running

€800 takes the whole thing - no offers

Call or text anytime 086 311 3492

Pics are in my prject thread

Yeah engine is running now!!

I recon a sunroof could be popped back in but the roof would need to be painted, i just gave it a quick coat

Ideally suitable for parts lads or for a conversion.

I just don't have the time to finish and a new project forces sale

Have you any idea what caused the head gasket to go originaly? It just seem's to be a very unusual for this to happen a b series and I'd like to know the reason. If I were to come and look at this car, could I compression test it with my own one, or have you took readings yourself? How many miles is on the clock, if its genuine? Did you reuse the old timing belt, cause I hope you took of the plastic covers to make sure the crank sprocket didn't lose timing. How did the cylinder sleeves look while it was stripped. Any scoring at all? They look good in the photograph, but thats a photo for ya. Sorry if the questions are excessive, its just when I can't test drive it, well, ya should understand.

The head gasket went cause the water pump completely sh*t itself and the car over heated.

You can do a compression test if you want, no problem at all.

I'm not certain i think there is around 130k on the clock.

I reused the timing belt cause it was only changed when the new water pump was fitted (before i bought it, the water pump was done by the time they realised the gasket was gone)

I didn't remove the plastic cover, i've done hundreds of cam swaps that way so i knew what i was at.

Cylinder sleeves looked perfect, usual condition for a healty engine.

The cyliner head was skimmed by condron engineering in tullamore, he also re-seated all the valves and fitted new valve seals.
