Default Toto (the Artist formerly known as Dorothy)

Well guys I'm finally back in a driving CRX, albeit a LHD CRX HF here in Kansas. Bought it last Sunday, took a few quick pics tonight, damn cold out here now, had -18C this morning heading into work!!

Swapped with a B16a2 and needs a bit of tidying up.

Need to get a larger MC and booster as this thing is 13/16 and is running Integra front rotors and calipers.....anyone say brake pedal tavel....

Need to get that damn exhaust off too or I'll need ear plugs, so any recommendations on a quiet aftermarket...was looking at those tanabe medallion touring ones but never heard them in person. Drove this 230miles back to wichita and man is it a headache at 75 on the highway.

Need to get the suspension sorted too as its just on springs now, no plans there as yet but will involve a bushing kit also. I see there are a few more rubber bushing options now than there were a few years ago, pic look a decent option. Probably not going to go for the ES bushes, not the biggest fan.

16 Slipstreams will probably sold off aswell, too big on the little crx.....and man I feel like I'm driving an old mini here in terms of size!

Plenty to do but its the best I could find for sale within driving distance of Wichita over the last 2 months....

Good to be back, should be on here more again.

And pics... 194k on chassis and told theres about 70-80 on engine [?]

Yes thats snow ^^....although you prob have more at home!

Yep have a full set of both which is handy, as soon as I get tyres on the other two they'll be on.

I'm in Kansas so its all domestic out here but either coast there are far more imports, people obviouslyget smarter closer to the sea!!

Congrats on the car!
Looks like a nice clean crx, does'nt seem like it suffers from rust.
Do many cars have rust problems like over here?
Did you pay a lot of dollars for it? Only ask as I here old used cars in the US hold there value.

Haha only the Si was non driving, well that and the yellow parts car!

Yeah everything else has been crap, not that there's been many for sale, now if i wanted a mustang...no problem!

Cheers for the offer of the MC, no clue how much postage would be, prob a lot I'd say, might try pick up a 1" one here if I can and upgrade the rears while im at it.

Not a lot of differences as far as I can see, seatbelts in the doors which is damn annoying, rear bins, although these are gone in this and a big stupid amp there, need to get some rear seats in there!

Then there's the obvious engine differences of course, this ones still got ac aswell even though its b16 swapped. The hf is actually like the 1.5, no rear arb, rear drums etc.

No real rust that I can see, it will need a paint job as its on original..for the most part! So getting worn in places. At least its not 50 different colours like many hondas I see here!

There are rust problems here as we are far enough north although I bought this a little further south. Cali and Florida cars are usually a lot better and the further north you go the worse they get. North East being worst imo.

Yea I paid 4800 in the end, more than I wanted to but didn't want a complete ball of scrap. I don't understand it here, new cars seem far cheaper than at home, yet used cars are crazy expensive and beat up with high miles. My MB6 at home cost me 1800stg 4 years ago and was immaculate. Nothing like that here, it'd probably cost me 7-8k...

Bits and pieces to do on this, few seals needed and that but will be grand once tidied up and may worry about resprays and such after the winter here.
