What are my wheels worth?
Lads, there's a set of wheels I'm thinking of buying so I'd be looking to sell my own if I do. What do you reckon would be a fair price on my CF48s are they stand (14", without aero discs or centre caps, probably in need of a good refurb)?

I sold a set to mick168 without tires. They were ok condition but by no means perfect for 250.
At the time I could easily got 300 for them and maybe even a little more. Get pics of each wheel up and Ill say it around. What kind me price are you thinking for them. Probably worth more in the UK but postage would bed up a bit. What wheels are you thinking of going for?

not sure what sort of money you'd be looking for, id presume you'd try get higher from donedeal etc, but if they were in the region of 100euro, id definetly be keen. Always wanted a set since i seen them on a VOLVO (yes thats right).

There's a set of 15" CF 48s for sale, have been refurbed and the centre bit is painted black, which is what I was going to get done to mine, but I thought I might go 15" to give myself a bit of room to improve the brakes. They're not cheap, though (£600 without tyres or £750 with), against probably at least €100 per wheel to refurb my own and still have the smaller wheel. Not sure which is the best option.

Hard to call alright both be costing you the same in the long run really.
Just to decide if you want 14 or 15s that said the UK set have centre caps which make it worth it alright.

Bugger!!! The larger rear brakes I bought won't fit under the existing wheels (just catching the bleed valve apparently). Feckit anyway.....
