Aftermarket seats and steering wheels need an engineers report to pass them as being safe..

I can understand this with seats being fitted dodgy and doing away with the mechanism for firing airbags and the airbag steering wheel itself.. This isnt an issue in CRXs though since they dont have airbags but I think they will still fail you in the NCT so for less hassle just throw in a standard steering wheel Id say

Interesting, what steering wheel options are available for the CR-X? And are the steering mounts the same on the DX as the SI?
