Default Project FS: Pajero Evolution (Now with pics)

A friend of mine is selling his Pajero Evolution.

File Pictures:

[u]Usual spec: </u>
  • 3497cc V6 Mivec 276bhp 257ft/lbs
  • Recaro seats
  • Air Conditioning
  • Power steering
  • Electric Windows
  • 2WD/4WD/DIFF LOCK
  • ETC.....

This particular jeep is red in colour and comes with the ultra rare MANUAL gearbox. This jeep has a decat pipe and was an absolutely incredible jeep to drive. The jeep was driving very well until the big end bearings went and ever since then it has been sat up in my friends garage as he has neither the time, the money or the knowledge to sort it out.

The jeep also has had light front damage and some point and the front bumper will need to be repaired or a new one will need to be purchased along with a new o/s headlight. The car also has alloys and BF Goodrich all-terrains.

[u]PRICE IS €1900 OVNO!</u>

Timewasters need not apply, the jeep is also Irish registered and will come with no tax. The jeep is being sold as a project and not a normal car and the price more then reflects this. The car will need the mechanical work and a the bodywork and a decent tidy and it will be asily worth more then you spent on it especially as it is a manual one.

Feel free to ask questions on here or you can ring me on 0857317181.

Thanks Rob

any pictures of the actual jeep and damage? what year is it? how long is it parked? did it ever have doe or tax? did he damage it or did it come over like that?
is the engine salvageable? could the big ends be done or would the metal shards from the failed bearing be mixed with the engine oil and flow thru the engine and damage the rest of it.

might help sale to know a few of these questions

Yeah no worries, I will get pictures of the actual jeep when I get a chance.

It is parked for about a year now.

As far as I know the big ends could be done. The engine can be started for a buyer(Although you can clearly hear the hard clicking of big ends, on the plus side the head sounds very good and quiet.)

The jeep was damaged when my friend recieved he actually swapped it for a 00' Impreza Turbo off another friend of mine. The previous owner came around a corner too fast and made very light contact with a mk4 golf. Also the previous owner before that had someone reverse into the exact same spot in a car park and never had if repaired so that is another reason why the bumper came apart so much as if it had of just been the second contact it wouldnt have been too bad but the integrity of the bumper had been ruined by that stage.

HTH Rob
