barcelona
Going to Barca with herself for a week. Anyone been there and have any tips. Gonna see the Nou Camp, the cathedral, the Olympic Port, etc but if theres any other places of intrest let me know. Maybe if theres a car museum or something while she shops

the girlfriend was in salou recently and said it was a great place.they took a day trip to barcelona then so will ask her of any good stuff there later.Nou camp was very good alright they said.

The lads I play footie with go away every year for a match and we went to the Nou Camp this year in February. Barcelona is a lovely city, do the sightseeig bus trip as there are Gaudi buildings all over the place and they look very striking when seen beside conventional architecture. The cathedral is worth going into, but expect the queue for the lifts intothe steeples to be ridiculous. Also make sure you visit the park Gaudi designed, too (can't remember the name of it) The Ramblas is a happening spot, especially in the evenings, be wary of pickpockets there and on the underground though, they're notorious!!

Parc Guell is the Gaudi one. And it is fantastic. The whole town is in fact.
Ain't been there in a couple of years, but a mate of mine used to live just off las rambalas and I went over a few times for the free accommodation. One of my favourite cities. I defy you to go and not enjoy it!
