Default 1992 Jap civic bits anyone?

its a 1.4 and it wont start and its not worth fixing. If anyone wants bits from her let me know as ill be sending it to the scrappie soon.
Tyres are all farily new, JDM rear lights might intrest someone. Also has flare holder if anyone wants it and a few other bits im sure will fit a crx.
Parts will be cheap or free so just ask.

Also can anyone tell me how i go about scrapping it. I dont want to sell it for parts, i just want to get rid of it officially!
Do i need to pay or is there somewhere that takes em for free?
James

security cage not included

Im sure some of the rally lads would have the front end off ya. Perhaps post it up on www.rallyforums.com. Theres a lad i know might have the front bits off it im sure they are the same as the 3dr ones?

I'd be interested in the engine so long as its not complete dead, just the block is what i want really. Is it carbed btw? Not sure the best way to get it out though and leave it handy for you.

Lovin the cage too []

there are plenty of people who would scrap it for you, i had a few cars thrown in front of my house and the pikeys were constantly calling looking for them. i had to put them behind the house after.
there is a section in your log book that you fill out when your scrapping a car, also from the ads on the radio the scrap yards in cork "issue a certificate of destruction". alot of people just get rid of them without filling out anything. if you take it to a scrap yard they will give you 60 quid for it i think. but if they have to call out they might take it for free as the price of scrap metal has gone up so its worth it for them.
did ya make the cage espically for the car?

im looking for an ignition barrel casing, mine was snapped when my car was broken into months ago and a drivers seat belt, the spring is worn in mine.

is there a place called jap heaven scrap yard up your side the country? if i was you id bring it to them and get parts for your own car as a bit of a barter. it would be worth alot to them lights, doors, bumpers, bonnet, boot, wings. add them up and it wouldnt be far off 500 quid not to mention engine bits , block, head sensors, small bits etc.

i bet these will be sort after cars in years to come like pauls sedan, shame to scrap it. whats wrong with the engine?

I might need the ignition myself. I would keep it but ive no space in my rented place and the parents want it outta the driveway. I think the immobiliser could be acting up, its definetly something electric. I think its a SOHC carbed engine alright john. havent heard of jap heaven , has anyone else? And the cage is for surfboards down a beach in inveran that we found.
