Always wanted one - mental little car.

I've only seen a couple of them in the country though. Actually I recognise that one too. If anyone i thinking of buying it PM me first...

they are mental fun to drive , i swapped my sol for for half an hour a couple of years back as we ware both curious about each others cars , very impressed , the suzuki cappochino is supposed to be a more user friendly and daily driver friendly , but then its not a HONDA , i would love a beat , i wonder if he would like a swap !!!

my mate had a capuccino, which is why i originally wanted a beat but couldnt find any. the cappuccinos are great craic as wel, you feel so dangerous yet somehow safe when your goin sideways in one! unfortunately a drunk driver ploughed into the back of it when it was parked up, of course his dad was a gard....

i had a look at the beat this evening , nice car , needs a bit of attention here and there but so does my sol , he is interested in a straight swap , i reckon my sol is worth about 1000 euro more than the beat , but the hassle of advertising and going through the tyre kickers is wort taking the hit .the car is his girlfriend , she has had it a year , but gets the bus to and from work in town as its quicker and and cheaper than paying for parking , thats the reason given for selling , i think ill do the deal , now i know you guys arent del sol fans , leave that aside ,what do you think i should do ?

1000 euro is a lot of money! although id say theres a good few del sols on carzone to compete with so could be a quick way of getting around it, and the beat is pretty cool and rare

its gonna cost you more than that, you'll be loosing the 1000 euro plus the money it will take to fix it up. id try and get money with the swap. get a mechanic to look at it as well.

ok i threw caution to the wind and did the swap , needs work but im in no hurry .the hydraulic slave -master cylinder is gone or it might just be the seals ,the clutch pedal stays pressed all the way down sometimes , that said the back box on the sol was knackered .
