value for money? ? ?
alrite lads,just one thing id love to know,if drifting never became a sucess,would the crx{88-91}and the ae86 corolla,levin[83-88]be valued the same,well i no u have the 1.5x crx,but like both 1600cc makes weather its irish,english or jap,they are both old skool and lovely cars,just the difference in price as ye all know is massive.u would nearly get 2 sir crx's and a 16v for the price of some corolla's these days.why is this?cos a twin cam can go around in circles?is this value for money?what ye think,do ye wana see both cars sell for same money,would u like to get 12k for ur 90 sir?i have noticed a fex crx's on carzone up around the 5k mark,is this the start? anyways i had to get that off my chest.thanks for reading.what do ye think.? ? ?[?][?]

Its only a RWD fad..
Fine they would be up in price but thats only due to an old skool toyota following like we are to hondas.. They might be making 4-5k but that would be most Id say

AE86s were going for mental money a few years ago, not sure if this is still the case though. I think the RWD element meant they were more "faddy" and prone to ridiculous valuations.

every now and again something happens to make a car type more/less popular than before , weather is the bourne ultimatum with minis ( product placement) or he poor Lexus due to Alan partridge , if James Bond turns up in a crx we will all be laughing to the bank , all cars are only ever worth what you can get for them . BRIAN

RWD fad! Seriously, RWD is lots and lots of fun (been a long time since I drove one though!).
An old corolla is still the cheapest way to go RWD, coupled with the fact that it has the 80's JDM styling we love so much, and JDM build quality! Cracking cars.

I know what you mean, MArk, it's just that RWD became very trendy among the car crowd there for a while. TBH, you could easily pick up an older BMW cheaper than those Corollas for some rear-wheel drive fun.
