Default Window regulator

My window doesn't stay in the rail when I close it, there seems to be play in the reg is there anyway of fixing it or do I need to replace the whole reg? also does it have to be a rex reg I replace it with or can I get one off another Honda (ef civic or something?)?

gobby asked me to comment on here as i had the same problem with my CRX when i bought it first.
i replaced the regulator with a genuine honda one. i'm not sure if the reg is specific to the CRX though...
if you're short on money, you might be able to pick up a second hand one on ebay i guess from someone breaking a CRX. or try the CRX-UK website.

it's an easy job (if a little alkward) to do yourself, so don't pay a garage to do it!

Yeah iv'e worked it out now I knew it wouldn't be hard just haven't had time at the moment. Its the bit that holds the window with the scissors below it on mine is bent. I posted up to see if anyone has one.
